The Sins of Doctor FaustusCaptivating WorldsEscape roomIRLFound Captivating Worlds from ratings and reviews on Morty. This room definitely lives up to the hype. The artistry and care put into the room design including lighting and sound , triggered by actions in the room! The puzzles flowed well and the story was really well done. The way the lights and sounds build tension as you go gets a bit intense, made it all the more exciting with our last minute win.
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - ColumbusEscape roomIRLA really fun and uniquely themed room with a nice mix of classic escape room style puzzles with some schoolroom and playground fun. Staff was super friendly
Gold RushThe Escape Game - ChicagoEscape roomIRLSuper fun immersive and well themed room with a number of different types of puzzles
The DepthsThe Escape Game - ColumbusEscape roomIRLLoved the setting , the submarine was great and the transitions were really well done
The Barnyard WindsCaptivating WorldsEscape roomIRLA different vibe and nice change of pace from the usual darker / more intense rooms (even the others at Captivating Worlds). The skill games were an interesting change up as well but nothing too intense. A nice flow that didn’t often leave us wondering what to do next.
Otherworld [Immersive Art]OtherworldEscape roomOther It’s not an escape room? Really fun place and it does have a couple puzzles, but I’m not sure why it’s in the app? Check it out for an immersive art experience though!
Kandy CorpCity 13Escape roomIRLThe AI animated videos were REAL cheesy and felt cheap. Even the cheapest costume and actor would’ve felt better. The games themselves as 15 minute mini rooms didn’t include any classic locks/combinations but involved different types of challenges including some (sort of) physical, memory, and math The concept with the mini rooms letting them run multiple groups at once without being IN THE ROOM with another group was interesting
