The Curse Of The Black KnightEscapeX Rooms - IrvineEscape roomIRLLoved the atmosphere here! Really great. There are narrow stairs and crawling through holes (not everyone has to crawl through holes although one you might have to wait for the other door to open if you want to avoid crawling through the first one). A couple of things: REALLY watch your step because it is easy to trip. The first door you push through lies on the ground, so if you go back to that room, you may kick it or trip on it. And some of the steps are a little high. Also the room you are led into by the GM is pitch black with a spongy floor. One of the mechanisms didn’t work right so they had to trip it for us. A slight downside is you can’t see everything happen because you are spread out all over the castle to make things happen (like do something in this room to make something happen in that room). It was maybe a little easy because we finished it with tons of time left. But the look was really cool.

Something's Out There!Maze Rooms - West LAEscape roomIRLWe’ve done 2 of the rooms at this location and this was another success—both in solving and in fun! Scary moments like being plunged in darkness and hiding in a safe spot, some jump scares, and one in the group had to face some phobias. We had to be guided once (didn’t ask, but we had missed a vital something that wasn’t obvious). I was super happy that I solved the final puzzle for the group. Our GM Elaina (?, sorry if I’m wrong!!) was very friendly and welcoming. Really had a great time.
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle60Out - MelroseEscape roomIRLMy second room! Really like this set up but there were a couple hiccups as one room was not reset and then the ending didn’t work right. But I had a lot of fun with my friends anyways
Jack The RipperMaze Rooms - Culver CityEscape roomIRLSome of the puzzles were too easy we felt, especially the third room. The jump scare though was super fun, and the revelation of the scary thing had us yelling. One of the locks in the first room definitely needs replacing. The atmosphere and look was really cool. The GM was really nice and friendly. We’d like to maybe come back and do the zombie room which is supposed to be harder.
