Escape IT - The SewersEscape ITEscape roomIRLVery fun and immersive...the detail and scale of each room was astounding. The actors were really good too. Also...terrifying! My only recommendation would be to cap the maximum group size at 6-8 people instead of the 10 people that we had in our group. My 70 year-old mom was with me, and she got trampled a few times...WAY too many people in such a confined space.
The Killing StationEscape Room Near MeEscape roomIRLGo check out Charlie’s room while it’s still there! We had a great time talking escape room theory with her, and she was extraordinarily welcoming. There were a couple of cool puzzles that I hadn’t seen before, and it proves that you don’t necessarily need a bunch of high-tech to be innovative
Behind The CurtainTwisted Limits Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLTwisted Limits is easily one of my favorite spots in the Chicagoland area, it's clear that Joe (the owner) and his employees genuinely care about creating a great and memorable experience for their customers. I've been here twice with the Chicago Escape Room Meetup group and we had a blast both times. "Behind the Curtain" had some unique elements that I've never seen before in an escape room, and is a little more "physical" than most. Puzzles were on the easier side, but still challenging. There were some pretty cool twists as well!

There were some cool technical elements too, this clearly isn’t a low-budget escape room. Our GM Anastasia was really friendly and added to the positive vibe of the experience. I’m stoked to see their new Escape Detention room opening this summer!
CheckmateThe Ruse Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis room was really intriguing, it added a twist I've never seen before in an escape room: Individual players were summoned throughout the course of the game to perform specific tasks without the aid of the others. I won't give anything away, but it added a totally unique layer of intrigue.
The Onyx TowerPanIQ Room - Logan SquareEscape roomIRLI was kinda skeptical when I saw how small the room was...but had a BLAST solving the room! There's a lot of technology and clever puzzles packed into a small space, and two people is the perfect number to solve them
