Treasure IslandBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLTreasure Island was really cool, immersive, and had lots to do! It was such a nice touch to provide the little extras that they did (no spoilers) and I would definitely recommend it.
Moriarty's ManorMindFox EscapeEscape roomIRLI gotta be honest. The first time we attempted this room, we were 30 minutes late due to traffic (coming from the OC) and didn’t finish and that’s totally on us. We were so bummed but really wanted to fully experience this room. So… we booked it again the next day and I’m glad we did! It was probably one of my top favorite rooms in terms of the amount of puzzles they fit in and how different/engaging they made it. The staff even added some different elements in it because they knew we did it the day before! The nicest staff (every single one of them). I can’t wait to go back to the new room when it opens later this year.
InksidiousEscape Room 66 - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLTuesday was a wonderful and nice GM. She really made our group feel welcome, offering water (or capri-sun!) and chatted while we waited for the rest of our group to come. It was a fun room to play and great for beginners or enthusiasts alike.
HeadcaseBreaking Point Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAwesome! Different types of puzzles and I enjoyed the story! Our gamemaster Drev was great :)
Black and White CafeMindFox EscapeEscape roomIRLIt’s a super pretty room and I really enjoyed it! I was so absorbed in admiring my surroundings that I got a little overwhelmed having to start. Fun puzzles and amazing staff. Would totally recommend, especially with younger enthusiasts.
The NeighborSteal and EscapeEscape roomIRLSuper friendly staff. It was a fun and different experience to have to interact with the room rather than rely on a GM. Would totally recommend.
The Magic CottageInfinity EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was really fun and super immersive! Totally doable with 3. GM was great and helpful when needed.
Rita's RelicsEscape! at Margarita AdventuresEscape roomIRLIt was a fun room! It was harder than I expected because a lot of it wasn’t intuitive to me (even though after a hint, I was like Oooohhhhh). Pretty high tech and really required me to work my brain to get out. Totally doable with 2 people.
The Mad Scientist [prev. The Laboratory]Brain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLSuch a great room for big groups who don’t mind tackling multiple puzzles at once and helping each other in between. It was still exciting to go through it at the end to see what everyone did.
S.A.S.H.A: Home Of The FutureWild Goose Escapes - FullertonEscape roomIRLThe room was fun but definitely more straightforward for those who have done a lot of escape rooms. Your experience depends on which GM(s) you get. When we were done with the room, we didn’t really get a word out of ours except to take a picture. It was a little awkward, leaving us thinking …”okay I guess we’re done and we’ll leave now?”
