Return of the PharaohsParagon Escape GamesEscape roomIRLWe chose this room based on Morty reviews and awards and weren’t disappointed. This is one of the best Egyptian themed rooms we’ve done. Great atmosphere and sound. In keeping with the theme, there are no padlocks. Our game master Julian was tremendous. He was very entertaining and tailored his pre-game intro to for both the experienced players and the two first timers. Be aware that there’s sand on the floor. Also, some items are used multiple times. Do this game!
ExcaliburClue IQEscape roomIRLAmazing theming. Very immersive. We especially liked the unique way they incorporated the countdown clock into the theme. Unfortunately, we were feeling cocky and didn’t ask for a vital hint at one point and ended up running out of time. Boo on us. We had a great time regardless.

Inventor's AtticEscape My RoomEscape roomIRLThey had some clever games. There is lots to look at and explore. I did it with my spouse and we loved it. Also, the coolest waiting room. The experience starts the minute you walk in the door. Plus the staff is in costume and in character. (But they aren’t IN the game with you.)
BlitzkriegClue IQEscape roomIRLThis room has great WWII theming. It has a variety of puzzles that challenged us. It was dim in places. We did it with no hints which really charged us up. (However, as a result, on the next room we did, we were feeling cocky and didn’t ask for hints when we should have and bombed out :( lol)
Bonus Fun Time Game Show ChallengeEscape FactorEscape roomIRLWe love non-linear games and this was one of the best! The pictures show what to expect. It’s a game show set from the 70s. It’s very well lit and the puzzles are fun.
Spellbound13th Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLThis room is the perfect combination of immersive sets and entertaining puzzles. Most of the puzzles are “object manipulation” type. Lots of good surprises. The lighting is dim enough to add to the amazing esthetics but not dark enough to make it hard to see. Obviously, 13th Gate in Baton Rouge is kind of a Mecca for enthusiasts and we’ve done all their rooms, but this was our favorite.
Smugglers DenEscape My RoomEscape roomIRLWe typically shy away from rooms that have low light or are dim. However, the 2nd part of this one is completely pitch black… you have to rely on feeling around and communicating verbally with your team. Very neat concept.
The Barnyard WindsCaptivating WorldsEscape roomIRLThis company is the best! Lovingly built by an escape room enthusiast! This room is fun and a little wacky. The name of the room pretty much says it all. There were some fun and challenging puzzles. It’s brightly lit and completely non-linear. Go to Columbus and do all their rooms!
The Tree House Raid at Fort KnocksEscape FactorEscape roomIRLSometimes you get great set design and not so great puzzles or vice versa. This game had both! As the title says, you’re inside a treehouse. We did it with a team of four but there’s room for more. Completely non-linear and great effects. They did a really good job with this room.
