I’d say it’s not very difficult but there were so so many puzzles to do so that made up for it. I did it with one other experienced player and we rapidly got through every puzzle and still made it out with only 3 minutes left!

Project MinotaurQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLAdmittedly this wasn’t for me, but didn’t want to give it a thumbs down because it is high quality. If you’re wanting to experience a typical escape room, this is not the room to do. It’s way more of an interactive thrill theater situation. I don’t remember the puzzles being very satisfying or good. The actors were phenomenal and so much fun to interact with though! But if you’re like me and your brain starts short circuiting when you’re too scared, or you prefer lots of puzzle play, skip this one.

The Nest [Immersive Theatre]Hatch EscapesEscape roomOther The overall experience was beautiful, but I will say that as someone who’s afraid of the dark, the fear I had distracted me from the story for about 50% of it. I plan to go again and really take in the story and try to not get the darkness and cramped space get the best of me. Just keep in mind if you are afraid of the dark that nothing truly scary ever happens, try to relax and enjoy the story!

The puzzle quality was alright, I didn’t find it to flow super well and it did leave me frustrated at times, as we needed a few hints to keep things going. Lots of red herrings. But overall the set design was so immersive and fun. Not my favorite puzzle play.

I would say this room leans easier than I expected, but it still has great puzzles and is absolutely worth doing. Perfect scariness level- it was thrilling but not enough to render me useless like other scary rooms do lol. Really great design. Do this room!

It’s not as high tech or fancy as other rooms out there these days, but the puzzle quality was incredible and so so satisfying, and that’s what I think is most important. It is difficult but doable, with some puzzles involving multiple layers. Highly recommend, our game master Darren was simply the best! It’s also the perfect amount of scary- I don’t like rooms to be too spooky otherwise I freeze and become useless. This room didn’t push it too far. 10/10
