The Weeping WitchCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis was a fun room! It’s not big, but they make great use of the space and there is a lot to solve. If you like scary, but want to enjoy the room this is a good one. It’s not insanity but it’s definitely got elements of fear and It’s definitely a room that works well for teams. I liked feeling that we had our own story that adds to the solvability of the room. I really loved how we got hints in this room, that’s my favorite in any room I’ve done.
Stash HouseStash HouseEscape roomIRLThis is a beautiful set and theme done very well, but the puzzles are very challenging and you’ll likely have no clue what most of them are because you really have to split up. I don’t like when my group doesn’t experience the same thing, but the room is done very well. It’s just A LOT.
Lab RatHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLI heard this is a must do and it was a fun room! I do wish our understanding of hints was better explained and some of the puzzles felt a bit questionable, but we had a good time! Always a bummer when you don’t escape but we got very close! Ask for hints early enough so you can get through the entire experience

Project MinotaurQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLThis is easily in my top three rooms! The actual ability to create fear is so real! This is a massive space and you will run and hide and duck and crawl. The thought of the music haunts me to this day. Get a solid team of four or five for this one and make sure they know what they signed up for!
The Asylum13th Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was easily the best of all of the rooms at 13th Gate Escape and it’s because they finally have amazing sets mixed with great puzzles. This is a scary room! The fear is real and there aren’t even live actors but you always wonder “what if?” The implementation of how to receive clues is by far the best for this room and like all of their rooms it is big! If you want to get scared, but walk out saying wow that was cool! This is a great room. Most of the rooms are very disappointing except for their top-tier unbeatable jaw dropping set designs. Escape rooms are more than just sets though.
Atlantis: The Forgotten CityHypnotic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe were the first team to do this room when it opened and it made my top 10. Then we got invited to redo it when they updated it like two years later and it made my top five! I send everyone here because this room is that good, the reviews show overwhelmingly positive because it is. Every element, including staff is supreme. The puzzles are so much fun and the sets are pretty darn gorgeous. You really transport to Atlantis! My only hope for this location is they add a lot more rooms because they do them right!

I went with two people that don’t do them often and they enjoyed it too! Definitely one of my higher ranked rooms! Nick was great and helpful from booking to escaping!
