Hide + SeekThe Escape WarehouseEscape roomIRLOur group of three had an INCREDIBLE time playing Hide and Seek. Two in our group have done around 15 games (including a couple at the 13th gate) and this has easily moved into the #1 spot for all of us! This game has incredible story flow/development and, most importantly, puzzles that make sense for the world you’re immersed in. The owners/staff were wonderful and you can tell they have such a passions for escape rooms, puzzle design, and story development. We can’t wait to play their other room and we will be trying all of their future rooms too!
Cutthroat Cavern13th Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLThis is an incredible game in terms of atmosphere and set. The puzzles and storyline were good enough, with some aspects we’ve never seen before. Like everyone says, it’s an absolutely must do!

After seeing so much praise for this room, it felt a bit older and had more gen 1 puzzles than I anticipated. I felt like the room started off really strong and then got progressively weaker with both the puzzles and set. Nonetheless, we had a lot of fun with the heist and our GM Cierra was top notch!

The set design is wonderful, and all of the puzzles make sense. The story was great, and the overall gameplay was quite clever. We escaped as a team of 2, but I’d say a group of 4 is probably optimal. Highly recommend!

Awesome atmosphere and a fun theme, although our team of 2 agrees with the other reviews that the story could possibly be reworked some so that it doesn’t need an explanation at the end. Overall a strong room, and we had a great time!

Wonderful storyline, immersive setting, and TONS of puzzles. 90 minute room, and it was doable for an adult team of two with a few hints. On top of that, the staff was super nice. Don’t miss this one if you’re in the Houston area!
Welcome to the MachineCaptivating WorldsEscape roomIRLEdit: After playing all of the games at CW, this is my personal favorite! This was the first game I played at Captivating Worlds. Welcome to the Machine is both exciting and well thought out! The theming is great, all the way down to the sounds used. More importantly, the puzzles are logical and rewarding. There were several “aha!” moments we had while solving the puzzles, which felt great. We almost escaped as a team of two!

I agree with another review that is wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be, but it was incredibly themed with a pretty good mix of traditional locks and tech elements. Even the traditional locks had really unique clue elements.
