“This is probably my favorite room we’ve ever done (and we did 5 today alone, to give you some kind of idea). The room had a 3 person minimum and we did it with 2 with only 5 seconds to spare 😂 The adrenaline rush, we were just going the entire time through out the multi room experience. The owner was so nice, we chatted while waiting for our game. Let’s just say I have to work a 16 hour day tomorrow & getting home after 11… completely worth it!”

“If you’re up for a good friendly challenge then this a fun one to try out. I really enjoyed the player to game interactions that happened throughout the entire experience. Our GM did an excellent job assigning us the correct positions in the game. This game can get a bit loud and competitive at times but that’s because we were all trying to win.”

“This is a great room. The set is so well done and incorporates lighting and audio aspects. I really enjoyed the puzzles and felt that they were unique and clever. There are four puzzle tracts. We played with four people and split up into two groups, each tackling two of the tracts. That means that we can play it again down the road and have each team tackle the tracts that they have not seen yet. 😬😬 It is definitely on the tougher side, but we gut through with no hints and we’re happy with ourselves for figuring everything out. There are no locks or keys in this room. This room makes my top 10 out of 225 played.”

I don’t want to spoil anything, but there was a nice touch that added something different and made the experience more memorable. The flow was good, and I liked that the room was non-linear, so everyone had a chance to work on different puzzles at the same time. The puzzles were fair and enjoyable, though I do think a few more puzzles would have made the room even better. Overall, this is a great room to check out if you’re looking for a fun day or night out in the area. I also can’t wait to see what Jenee, who I believe is the owner, has planned next. You can really tell she put her heart and soul into the set, and her passion for escape rooms shows throughout the experience. I would definitely recommend Freak Show!”

“I rate this escape experience a 3/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). And just a side note, this is literally a lobby game - a game behind a curtain in the hall of the lobby. It is also literally a pirate chest, that's it. So I think a 3/5 for a lobby game is pretty darn good. I give the set/theme a half point because it's in the lobby which can be noisy due to it - being in the lobby, duh. Plus it really is just a pirate's chest so yeah, half a point. I give the puzzles 1.5 pts. Granted, they were all lock type puzzles but what they did with them in the very limited space of the pirates chest was quite novel and creative. No one puzzle was particularly memorable but the experience itself was memorable due to the novelty of it. The puzzles were the perfect amount of difficulty for a light puzzle solving experience as well. I gave my enjoyment level 1 point. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would and it was a nice addition after doing an actual escape room at this location.”
