Amazing!!! This room blew our mind in so many different ways! We just kept saying “this is so cool” to each other with each new space we moved into and explored. One of the transitions to a new room was very clever. Several puzzles we had never seen before that were wow moments. Very unique and you get the coolest souvenir. There was one puzzle that we solved pretty quickly, but the keypad didn’t like that we were slow to enter in the numbers, so it didn’t open with that code, which led us to spend 15 minutes searching for some other code. All in all, if something doesn’t work the first time, try it again if you’re confident, and screw the time out lock (or even better, Exit Games, change your timeout locks, please :). BUT this game is phenomenal and still in my top 5! Pins and Needles was a slightly smoother experience for me, but both are must dos!

Holy Sh*t this room was phenomenal. Loved that this room slightly piggybacked off their other room, just little Easter eggs that had us creating some interwoven narrative between the two. Loved the plot twist that was unexpected and very immersive. Read the f*ing description, this room is definitely not for kids, 18+ for a reason. There will be a lot of explicit language and disturbing subjects, don’t dock them for not paying attention when you booked the room. We loved our experience at Exit Games FL. Puzzles were so unique and it had quite a few puzzles I’ve never seen before. And SO many puzzles! My husband and I discuss each room and puzzle after a game and this one took us 1.5-2 hours to dissect out, which means that we were always working on something the entire 90 minutes, so while it is expensive, you definitely get that full time worth of entertainment. If you are okay with the explicit nature of this experience, go do it immediately!!!

The best escape room we have ever done as of 2024. So immersive, and our in-room actress was fantastic. We loved that the clues actually felt like part of the story and not just sprinkled in randomly like many other rooms we have come across. The room felt like it had so many surprises and spaces to explore/appreciate! Some of the coolest puzzles we’ve ever seen to! Amazing company.

The set design on this room was incredible. So many cool spaces. A total of 5 different “areas” you go into (albeit some are very small). And the transition/experience from room one to two had my jaw on the floor. Our in-room actor was amazing and so so funny. It’s a “creepy” room but I would say they are also comedic to lighten the mood a bit. There were a few puzzles in this one that had me saying “wow” and were so unique. Definitely an amazing company. Would put this behind starlight motel, but is a close competitor.

WOW! The set design on this room is amazing, it was the perfect blend of scooby doo meets ghostbusters. The theme song is going to be stuck in your head forever, fair warning hahah. We loved the puzzles on the porch so so much, one of the most unique puzzles I’ve seen. The house section made me feel like I was in the haunted mansion at Disney, which is my happy place, so I was giddy about that. The room wasn’t very difficult for us and so we finished it about an hour, but it’s advertised as a 90 minute experience, so maybe your night would end a bit earlier, but the higher cost on it is still totally worth it for the production value. We also adored how certain spaces were re-used/changed (no spoilers!). Go Spirit Stalkers *high five*!

This room (or should I say rooms because this space is huge) was excellent! It is extremely well thought out and they did a great job making it immersive and scary (in a fun way). Little details did not go unappreciated, from the way they clued no touch items while preserving the set design, the use of lighting and noise, storytelling, etc. The room is not difficult, but I think it actually works in your favor because the mind is impacted by fear’s influence and this room definitely makes you uneasy. I also liked the storytelling element and transition between rooms. We were surprised that they let us admire their control room which is located in the center of the room giving them access to be exactly where they need to be when- so well thought out. It is a fairly active room, meaning you move from room to room a lot. While it is scary, a lot of this room is just jump scares which were personally easy to “recover” from for me, but my husband did feel as though that anticipation did make him not think clearly the entire time. Overall, I would definitely recommend it!

Our GM, Tori made this experience! She was such a great Game Master and was hilarious in her role. The puzzles were great and loved the set design. This is a top tier escape room, but seems to get a little overshadowed by the other two rooms here because they are also phenomenal- but don’t miss this one! It is such a fun time with a great story. My one suggestion would be to make those camper windows more realistic shadow images instead of screens 😉

This room was so cute and so fun and had all the 80s/90s vibes you could want! Loved the live actor interactions throughout the game and loved hiding from the security guard. Also such a creative idea to be able to take out puzzles if a group is running behind. We got to experience all the puzzles and thought they were all so fun, especially the puzzle with the machines! Loved that we got to take a picture with the jumbo plushies of click and glitch!

Secrets of the Dead has fantastic set design. The experience begins in the lobby and the entire location is “on theme.” We were very impressed when we entered both rooms. There were a couple puzzles we hadn’t seen before, which is always exciting. I think there was a little too much going on in the first room, we ended up not being able to keep track of everything/ have the space to lay it all out. We also had some technical difficulties with the “props” we were given to use right at the beginning- they didn’t work and so we were distracted for about 40 mins by them before our GM noticed they were broken and told us. Some things were also on a delay so we weren’t sure at times what actually made something happen. We did need a decent amount of help, but I don’t feel like it was an overly difficult room, we just weren’t on our A-game as a team today. If the tech was fully functional and the first room was fine tuned, this room would have been a love, but it’s not quite there yet.

Quite possibly the most adorable and unique room I will ever experience. When I say adorable, I mean middle of nowhere, charming couple, slow paced life, with a woodburning stove in an old mercantile building. This sleepy little town was completely off my radar despite us only living about 30 mins away. I’m so glad this escape room brought us out there to discover Gold Hill, NC. Hear me out, this is a very DIY escape room with some high tech elements, but also duct tape can hold magnets to things, but for me this diversity added to the charm. But don’t come in thinking you are going to get an experience comparable to production level rooms, this is a mom & pop place in an 100+ year old building, you will still be aware you are in the back of their general store. The room is based on local lore and has real antiques to match the time period and take you back in time. Such a fun evening in a cute tiny town run by the kindest couple.
