Chapter 1: Occam's ApartmentOff The Couch GamesEscape roomIRLChapter one was such a great intro into what will unfold into an even more sinister trilogy! Loved the story and the set design and the unique nostalgic puzzles that came along with it.

Mogollon Monster: Scouting for Arizona's BigfootThe Nemesis ClubEscape roomIRLThis is another one of those rooms that completely immerses you into the story. The whole setting was very well done. You really feel like you're on a campsite where something nefarious happened. Loved how realistic everything was. Some of the puzzles were really interactive which was kind of fun lol.
Treasure IslandBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLLoved the atmosphere and the immersive puzzles. The puzzles were not your typical locks and key type puzzles, which was refreshing! Would totally recommend this. The puzzles are for the most part non-linear, so larger groups can work on multiple puzzles. The theme was super cute, though my fiance and I felt that the puzzles were not always satisfying. At some points, we felt the GM pushed us along a little too much, but if he didn't, we may not have finished in time. By the way, there's no way to tell how much time you have left either. Try this room if you can! Totally worth it. Can't wait to go back and try the other rooms!
EVIL RobotsThe Nemesis ClubEscape roomIRLThis was another fun one at The Nemesis Club! I have to say that I think I enjoyed the Mogollon Monster escape more, but this one was also really well done! There were a lot of visual moments where you needed to pay attention to a screen, which took up some time. I didn't feel like our team ran through this escape at the smoothest pace, but each of the rooms were well done and unique. The ending was really cool!
Chaos In The GalleriaOmescape - SunnyvaleEscape roomIRLThis was a really fun group activity! The storyline was great - feeling like you're loose in the mall with your friends after hours causing a ruckus. There was a live actor element so that was another fun piece to it as well. Lots of puzzles to work on that you and your friends can split up doing. I would say this is one of those rooms you could probably do twice because there's just so much to do.
Atlantis: The Forgotten CityHypnotic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was a room full of surprises. Started out pretty simple, but just kept on going with unexpected puzzles. The production value was nicely done and the puzzles were neat. Some puzzles required a nudge, but overall my team was able to breeze through it. This was a fun one!
Montauk ProjectMyssTic RoomsEscape roomIRLStarts out innocently and gets a little "strange" later. I would say these puzzles really aren't too difficult. Breezed through the first two rooms pretty easily, and got stuck a bit on the last room which ruined our flow. Loved the stranger things theme and how similarly they tried to tie in the series. The puzzles didn't require too much thinking in my opinion, but I enjoyed how they presented the puzzles for you to figure out. All-in-all, cute theme and fun puzzles. The last room just felt like it needed some help because a lot of the puzzles needed some guidance..
The Mad RapperScenario Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI thought the theme was pretty cool and some of the puzzles were kind of unique. I think I remember The last few puzzles being a little confusing to me though. 😅
Cosmic CrisisThe Escape Game - OrangeEscape roomIRLThis was the newest room at The Escape Game, and the newest location in SoCal as of recently. Being that this room is based in "space", the puzzles were a bit more high tech. This is also one of their harder rooms, so some puzzles required a little more thought - though not too difficult when you actually find what correlates to your next puzzles. This one was also not exactly linear, so you didn't need to entirely find everything in order. Enjoyed the gameplay! I only did this with my husband, and we got through this fairly quickly.
