La Cathédrale Oubliée [The Forgotten Cathedral]
Escaparium Laval
Escape room
IRL
The experience ramps up quickly and doesn't let go until the very end. Such a fun experience to go through. It was a roller coaster of an experience that keeps on a tense lease for the entire experience. Completely immersive and a story that builds into an explosive finale. I will be thinking of this for years to come.
Dark Lullaby
Escape Artist Greenville - Hampton Station
Escape room
IRL
This room executes everything I love in an escape room to the most excellent degree. The sound design is outstanding using new technology that increases the immersive elements that I have never seen used outside of theater. The production and set keeps you on your toes and it's surprising where the nightmare will lead. The actor is a chaos figure that is at times helpful, frightening, and comical. The pacing keeps every player engaged. There are a lot of puzzles to solve. The room experience starts with a haunting whisper and ends with freeing scream; and we loved every second in between. Truly, after thinking about it for a week, out of all the escape rooms I've played in the US, this might be my favorite one in the country.

L'Île perdue de la Reine Vaudou [The Lost Island of the Voodoo Queen]
Escaparium Laval
Escape room
IRL
Let's rock the boat! A great immersive experience that will make you feel like you are battling a storm in the middle of the sea. Great interactive moments to help you realize your pirate fantasies. Fun antagonists whether the denizens of the ship, island, or nature itself!
Abstraction
Eliviascape
Escape room
IRL
A creepy beginning that just gets creepier as the experience continues. One of my favorite game mechanics I have seen in a game and scratches a personal scare button. Delightfully paced to reveal a journey to save yourselves!
The Weeping Witch
Cross Roads Escape Games
Escape room
IRL
What an incredible use of space. Art direction to make sure every corner of the space makes sense and themed to the room. A tightrope of an experience that will keep its players on its toes until the very end. Scare abound but so are the puzzles!
Ink & Ashes
Exodus Escape Room
Escape room
IRL
Ink and Ashes does what great escape rooms do, direct the audience through clever lighting, sound cues, and atmospheric use of storytelling. It keeps the players at a great pace to gather us for the theatrical bits and open it up when doing puzzles. The story is straightforward but the game makes the fun in the process. Make sure to pay attention to the story so you can let the room shower you in your success!
Inksidious
Escape Room 66 - Los Angeles
Escape room
IRL
A delightfully puzzle filled escape room that is fantastiscally produced. The art direction of this room is very consistent with the theme and it is so charming. Lots and lots of fun puzzles that come one after another. A fun surprise that comes half way through the experience.
Jewel of the Sea
Intrepid Escape Rooms

Utterly delightful! When your entire group spontaneously erupts in applause, you know you're having a good time. Solid all around from the intro, ending , clue system, production, and puzzles.
La ConFéeserie
SOS Aventures - Saint-Jérôme
Escape room
IRL
The beginning of this room starts off with a delightful sound that brings all the nostalgia real and imagined back to your mind. You bombarded by visual stimuli that is there to delight. Great thoughtful puzzles and some fun surprises to this charming room.
Alien Terror
Escape The Netherworld
Escape room
IRL
They say 'In space, no on can hear you scream'. But the gamemaster sure can! Delightfully frightful with references to Ridley Scott's Alien and other space horror films. Love the special effects at this room (and basically every room at this company) Prepared to be frightened and delighted.
