“The concept of a smart home turning against its new occupants was awesome and the execution was perfect. All of the puzzles were innovative, fun, logical. My team and I didn’t need any hints but appreciated the good amount of challenge and great blend of high-tech and physical/lock and key type tasks. We really loved the non-linear aspect that allowed us to split up and work on different things at the same time! Great room overall.”

“Starship was so fun! This is a great game to take some friends to, and just have a good time. A larger puzzles towards the end requires a lot of teamwork and communication, so be ready. Great use of space, a detailed set and satisfying puzzles. We were all laughing and yelling towards the end and having a great time. Definitely recommend 👍”

“My favorite escape room at Infinity Escape! I was blown away by the design of this room! The mysterious atmosphere the fog provides and the lighting and sound effects were just perfect! The puzzles were also challenging, but doable with the occassional requests for hints. But nothing too bad. The most challenging part was the ending wherein you have to choose which sister is the truly evil one. And please put some thought into choosing which one and not blindly pick one. 😆🤣 The only downside was the clue giver in the room is a dragon with a very strong English accent, and I just had a hard time understanding what he was saying. 😅 #teamslytherin”

“One of the scariest rooms i’ve done yet! The thought of live actors, solving stuff in dark and the music changing constantly made my brain not work well haha. That’s what makes it more difficult yet enjoyable. Definitely a lot of running around finding answers as well as hiding. The ending of the room still has me shook even today! Definitely recommend a small group if you want to have a good chance to be scared, but also go with people who enjoy being scared to make it more fun! Thanks Chris and Logan for a fun time!!”

“The physical setup of this room is unique and I loved it. Lots of fun and clever puzzles, and many different types of puzzles as well. This is a room that really got my heart rate going. You kind of need 6 people to properly do this room, so that’s what I would recommend. Must do room!”

“We had a blast. This was our first escape room and our game master was SO supportive while also letting us figure out how to get through a room. We really enjoyed the breadth of puzzles (something for everyone in our party) and the set design was delightful. Cross Roads has great experiences and this one was perfect for families.”

“Some of the best puzzles I’ve seen in a horror game, much better than most scary experiences. The set is gorgeous and the clue system is fun. There are a couple things that happen in this room that I have never experienced before. We had a group of 6 enthusiasts, but I think you could be fine with 4 or 5.”

“This escape room is fantastic! The atmosphere is insanely well done, and it’s about as scary as it can be with no live actor. There aren’t a ton of jumpscares, which I think works to this room’s advantage. You’ll be on edge the entire time, and when a jump does come, it will always be in a way you don’t expect! Our game guide was wonderful and helpful, and the hint system plays in so well that it doesn’t break the immersion at all! My one warning would be not to bring too many people, or you’ll probably finish really quickly. There were only two of us, and we still had a relatively easy time. I think this is a great room for beginners if you can handle the scares. Even though the puzzles weren’t overly complex, the atmosphere and storytelling in this room alone makes it well worth your time!”

“Great time with this game was on the easier side for our group as we had seen a few of the puzzles before in other rooms. We like how Immersed you felt by being in an actual bank and vault. There felt like a lot of puzzles and locks but we kept getting them done quickly. We needed about 3 clues and only one of them because we didn’t see that something opened after we solved a clue.”

“This was the newest room at The Escape Game, and the newest location in SoCal as of recently. Being that this room is based in "space", the puzzles were a bit more high tech. This is also one of their harder rooms, so some puzzles required a little more thought - though not too difficult when you actually find what correlates to your next puzzles. This one was also not exactly linear, so you didn't need to entirely find everything in order. Enjoyed the gameplay! I only did this with my husband, and we got through this fairly quickly.”

“This game is so unique and fun! I loved the personal details throughout, you can tell they put so much into the details. The game play was fun and made sense, fairly linear. We had Katie for this game and she was a joy!”

Disneyland isn’t the only source of magic in Anaheim. As one of the premier destination cities of the west coast, this sprawling city offers a little something for everyone, including some of the very best escape rooms in the world. Built on imagination, Anaheim offers a collection of one-of-a-kind flavors, scenes, sights, and sounds. Seeking a beach vacation? Anaheim is a short distance to some of the most pristine in the US. Or is cultural enrichment more up your alley? The grand Bowers Museum contains over 100,000 pieces in the permanent collection. It’s no wonder the escape rooms in Anaheim are just as thrilling as its other attractions. Over a hundred escape rooms span the Anaheim area, with countless incredible reviews and challenges ready to stump and surprise the most seasoned escape artist. From daring heists to mystical fantasies, Anaheim has plenty of puzzles ready to be solved by creative minds.
Anaheim is a true escape room destination. Since the first escape rooms arrived in Orange County, America’s most magical city has embraced these immersive experiences. In fact, greater Anaheim is home to nearly 20 different escape room venues. Time Machine at Not Another Escape Room offers a creative take on the popular science fiction theme. The Mad Rapper at Scenario Escape Room is a fun game with some fresh ideas that can be enjoyed by all ages. The 13th Basement at The Exit Game Anaheim is a thoughtful game that can be great for slightly more experienced players. With nearly 100 escape games in the area, the possibilities are basically endless — you’ll find games with themes of horror, adventure, crime, espionage, and plenty you may not expect.
Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
There are plenty of awesome escape rooms to choose from in Anaheim. The goal of Morty is to make escape rooms more accessible for everyone to find and play. With Morty, you can: • Browse escape rooms anywhere in the country • Read reviews and ratings from other community members • Book a room together with your friends Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned escape room enthusiast, our aim is to help you play more escape rooms and visit more immersive attractions.
Most escape room venues don’t accept walk-ins, and time slots for popular games may fill up fast. Besides that, not every escape room is the same — some have varying difficulties, and you don’t want to get stuck playing a room that’s beyond your experience level. That’s why the best way to book an escape room in Anaheim is through the Morty app. You can get updates on new games, read reviews, compare details (including difficulty, theme, runtime) and plan an outing with friends, all on the same platform. You can even coordinate games with your friends collaboratively. Download the Morty app and book your adventure today!
